I'm guessing class rules mandating the 17.5 turn brushless...but I'm no help, I'm still running my Titan till it pukes...

It's you are running a VXL ESc just get a Tekin 17.5t redline or a Novak Ballatic 17.5t and use the AUX port on the ESC for the sensor harness. You want to run those motors in sensored mode b/c if you try in sensorless...it cogs like crazy!
Powered by Tekin. Go Tekin or go home.

+1 Novak Ballatic 17.5t, someone runs one of these at my track and it hums in his none slash. It helps that he is one of the best drivers on the course.

The Havoc ESC is terrible. You would be better off with a Tekin RS or a Mamba Max Pro.

Lesson learned over years and years is you pay for what you get. Get a good one. Even if you have to save up the cash for a little longer. Its worth it to get a quality working setup.

Actually, the mamba max pro is $119.99, the Tekin is $165.
    They are both pretty equal.
Just kidding, I knew what you meant
