I plan to install the 12v Dewalt motor in my E-revo tonight and looking to place an order for some lipos too.
Initially I was thinking of going with 2s 5000mah 25C batteries from ********* installed in the stock series configuration on the E-revo.
Now I am thinking of getting 4s packs installed in parallel to effectively double the mah whilst maintining voltage and thus not smoking the EVX2.
The 4s batteries are also 5000mah 25C each:
Just wondering if what I am trying to do has been tried by anyone? is it worth doing over using 2 x 2s packs in series?
I dont mind modifying the battery trays at all but I want a configuration that will give me the longest running times without effecting the voltage too much and that can also be used with the stock speed controller and 12V Dewalt motor.
