    2238 vs 2242?

    What us the difference between the 2238 radio system that came with my 4X4 Slash and the 2242 system that came with my new 2WD Slash?

    2238 is the standard 2CH High Output system but I can't find a mention of 2242 anywhere.

    I called up Traxxas Support and got an answer. The 2242 is a Traxxas Link radio without the multiple model memory.

    My understanding is that it is also not the high output radio and doesn't have the range that the 2238 has either.

    my 2242 came with all 5 channels un-locked and my 2238 has only two un-locked and I can't get the other three to open using the VCC method.
