    Charge jack for Link 2.4.

Cant seem to find any info on adding a charge jack to my 2ch 2.4 link. Just picked up some 2000 mah aa energizer cells. It takes 12 hrs to charge with the included charger, so I would like a no hassle connection to use my accucell 6 to charge them. Thanks for any tips or help!

Well, couldn't wait, so I decided to install a deans connector to connect to my charger.

I must mention that this may void your warranty, so you may want to contact traxxas to see if it will.

First, you have to take out these 5 screws:

Next, take off the back cover (make sure to notice how the antenna mounts as it will tend to fall out of its mount):

Now drill a hole in the battery box here (arrow) :

Then insert your pigtail for the connector you will be using. I used a deans:

Put a knot in the wire so that if the tx falls of the table, the wires will not pull out. You never know what could happen lol.

Next connect the wires. Be sure its red to red/black to black, and solder them to the tx battery connectors (arrow) :

Put the back on and reinsert the 5 screws, and now I can take off my batt cover and charge up after a day of running:

I Know there may be a better way to do this, but this works for me. It is an easy process and I am sure if you wanted to install an external jack, it would not be too hard, as the process is basically the same.
Make sure that the tx is TURNED OFF before charging!
    Hope this helps!

OH YEAH: I get 10 hrs run time with Energizer 2000 mah AA's after the second charge. Don't know if the batts will wake up even more after more cycles.

That sticky or for a standard radio. This one Rag6 made is for a new 2.4ghz radio.

May be a mod can sticky both, cause there both needed.

No need to stickey both they are the same basic design, you should be able to do to one what you do to the other without a problem.
