I personally think we need an RC snowmobile. Theres a guy on another forum and on youtube named hurricanefibers who makes some sick sleds out of Wally World New Brights using all Traxxas parts. HINT HINT Traxxas!!!

If Traxxas decides to enter the MX bike market then they had better bring out an all conquering design as this market is starting to hot up. I know of 2 MX bikes that are due for release in the next 3-4 months and another in development. That's going to make it a very tight market with what else is already on sale.
The hardest thing for Traxxas to do is not develop the bike but convince their car buying base of customers to convert to bikes, and I just don't see that happening.
By the way, in reference to a post further up, if you want to stop with the bike, you just stop! It does not fall down, it comes to rest on the scratch bars, and it's pretty easy to get going again when it's resting on the scratch bars. Have a look on YouTube

I always break helis. Planes, I'm ok at, but any larger scale RC heli... If traxxas makes a heli with a training mode or some sort of gyro that saves it if it goes out of control, I'd buy one up right away.

+1. New Bright's are crap, no offense. We need something with power, durability and waterproof!

I put in a 8.4v nimh in one and it poped a wheelie. We tried to put a Titan, but the motor in the snowmobile is WAY to small.

i think its kinda funny that Traxxas now makes a (1/16) Summit VXL (i think that it is really a 1/14 or a 1/12 summit but traxxas calls it a 1/16) and a 4X4 Stampede VXL.

I agree that RC motorcycles are stupid. If you've ever ridden a dirt bike, or even a street bike, you know the handling is just way off. And they flop side to side like crazy.

Even an ATV can't be recreated well because the body positioning of the rider changes the handling of an ATV so much.

I'd love to see Traxxas come out with a 1/5 scale truck to compete with the HPI 5T!!!

i guess the only problem with a snow mobile would be that you would have to live somewere where is snows. Other than that it would be really cool. An RC dirt bike really wouldn't be that fun, if you get stuck or have to stop it will fall right over. Also what would happen if you were riding and it ran out of nitro and you were running it on pavement. I bet you would have to buy alot of parts; I bet that it wouldn't look new for long! A ATV would be pretty cool as long as it was some what to scale with a real ATV.

I tried the Duratrax dirtbike, and i gotta say its quite a bit of fun! More of a novelty, really.

And for those that think they fall over too easily, i should point out that they are stabilized by a gyro inside of the front wheel, so they really dont fall over... even if you crash. Its really something else.

You wont be setting any track records, but you will have fun none the less.

I would think a bike would be a nice addition to the Traxxas family. ...or a 1/4 slash (4x4) Man, wouldnt that be something else!?!?!
