Painted new lid. Proline Silverado

Finished painting the new Proline Chevy Silverado lid last night. Been out of the hobby for 15 years and really enjoying it again!

I liked the flat black look but wanted to dress it up a little. Got some work to do on decals and other details. It was not my original intention to go with a Monster Energy scheme but it might end up going that direction after seeing finished paint. Will post as progress is made.

Nice look, I also did mine in flat black, I agree with dressing it up though. I had to put some stickers on mine to break it up.

Looks great! I wanted to do something more simple but ended ip spending 7 hours painting mine changing it as I went a long

also HAD to do the wheel wells squares to bring out the Chevy

Good Idea for the fender wells, I'd have to do that for the 1/8 wheels/tires I'm running. Looks great.....Sorry FrdvsChevy, didnt mean to highjack your thread

Decals and RPM light bar installed. Decied to keep it simple and clean with the decals. Installed light bar in the rear because it was a much better fit and is protected more in a rollover. The light bar is too narrow to install on the front of the roof and have it look scale.

looks really good man, I cant wait till this shell is released for the 1/16 slash. or a Get the 1/10 which ever comes first.. I really like how you did the flat black but then also have the shine in the stripe. Very cool.

Split six beadlocks, green beadlock rings and bowtie m2's on the way. Should look clean with this paint scheme.
