    Broken Drive Shaft...

Yup that's right I broke the center drive shaft...

Guy at the LHS said only one other guys been in looking for one...

Luckly so many people are parting them out on the bay...

Pay way more then the parts are worth but when you want it you want it...

This would be the second part I've broke first was the right front have shaft... But that was because the carrier came loose...
Also broke the rear bumper... Dosen't do so well when landing on it : )

Anyone else brake the center drive shaft?

Anyone figure out how to make it stronger??

How did you break the center drive shaft? Pics?? I would think that part would be pretty hard to break.

That's it... Yeah. Part 6888 did brake but in the process from the drive shaft being loose inside. It ground down very far where the servo is from rubbing...
It's still straight but in pretty bad shape at the one end.

I'll get some pics tonight when I get home.

try reversing the drive shaft #6855. The rear #6888 is metal the front #6888
is plastic it might work till you get replacements.

I'll give that a shot... I ordered a new drive shaft with boht 6855 and 6888

Hopfully I can run 6855 the metal one in both the front and the back then!

It was really cold out when this broke too...

Nope I thought the same thing but the metal don't fit on the front not sure why they have the same part number but not the exact same part.

I believe they are shipped as a set, which is why they have the same part number.
