    Water proof P2de.

Bring on the mud! Bring on the winter. We don't get snow down south, but there will be plenty mud. So excited to have the stock Velenion system back in. I included the proline transmission and MIPcvds. Can't wait to try it out.

Here is a picture of it. Might try trenchers on back and talons on front. If that dont work then talons all around.

If possible return the Pro-Line transmission. And if you have to drive in the mud check out the Intimidators from RC4WD. They should work really well in such conditions.

Thanks Loot. Yep took a class on soldering 20 yrs ago. Going to shorten them up in a few minutes. Sure didn't know or even think about shortening them sure will look much better. Man can't wait to get this thing dirty. Take care.

Thanks Loot. The MIPs fit excellent. Been having them for several months. Not sure the part number. They are made for the pede vxl though. Havent had any problems with them. I have the hpi grub pin style. I got that good info on this forum. I noticed the new mips i bought are the new style #11104 x- duty cvd. Keyed rear axle. They will go on " need for p2de" cant wait to try them out. Ordered some permatex thread locker last nite. Red and blue. Willing to try something new. Oh i just realized i am using permatex brand just not the twist kind. Ob well $22 more dollars for nothing.

Trenches in the back is all you need... Talons are junk in the snow. Here is how i know... This was in my cul de sac and neighbors front yard

Noticed my proline trans slipping a lot today after some heavy bashing. Took it apart and noticed I melted the center area of the spur. Glad I had ordered some spare spurs. Oing to order some spare slipper pads tonight. Looks like I will just have to tighten down the slipper a good bit more. Live, learn and spend more $.

The talons were on the front and worked great in the air The trenches on the rear did better than i expected in the snow! Good eye in the paws... My buddy was driving my merv with paws all around. Pretty much unstoppable
