Slash 4x4 fenders

Hello i recently bought a slash 4x4. I have been of the forum everyday looking at everyones ideas on debris shields and mud flaps. I even saw someone make a shield from a 1/8 scale buggy body. I didnt want to cover motor and esc due to the heat problem. I used some rubber roofing material and cut a slit to put over the body mount. I also used some velcro on the nerf bars. This is what i came up with, i know its not the nicest looking thing but it keeps out the big chunks!

Very nice! Great concept, how do they stay on? Is it just from being put on the body mount? Now just get some pics after you've been bashing to see if they truly work, but I'm sure they'll work pretty good.

is that stuff stiffer than a rubber tyre innertube? (like from a truck?)

Yeah this stuff is much thicker then a inner tube.
