I recently bought a cheap 19 gram camera to mount onto my Slash 4x4. I used a 4' H x 1.5" W piece of aluminum that I bought from Home Depot and cut it down to size. Rivets were used to connect the two parts to form an inverted T. The camera has a clip on the front which fits snug onto the aluminum mount. For safety measure I used some rubber bands to secure it. The camera is also recessed a few inches from the top so that if the car rolls over, it will not damage the camera. The reason I mounted it outside the body is because I have a debris guard (not shown) that wraps the entire body/tub. I might end up buying a GoPro (HD) camera in the future but I wanted to start small first. I really like how it came out. It's a very simple design. It can be removed real easily by cutting the zip ties. There were NO changes or modifications to the car itself.

The terrain was REALLY bumpy, so sorry if it looks choppy. Oh and you might want to turn down the volume :
