I recently bought a cheap 19 gram camera to mount onto my Slash 4x4. I used a 4' H x 1.5" W piece of aluminum that I bought from Home Depot and cut it down to size. Rivets were used to connect the two parts to form an inverted T. The camera has a clip on the front which fits snug onto the aluminum mount. For safety measure I used some rubber bands to secure it. The camera is also recessed a few inches from the top so that if the car rolls over, it will not damage the camera. The reason I mounted it outside the body is because I have a debris guard (not shown) that wraps the entire body/tub. I might end up buying a GoPro (HD) camera in the future but I wanted to start small first. I really like how it came out. It's a very simple design. It can be removed real easily by cutting the zip ties. There were NO changes or modifications to the car itself.
