    Mounting tires.. The easy way

Ive seen a couple complain how much of a pain it can be to mount tires for SC's. So, I snapped a quick pic when I was mounting my Goosebumps today:

A couple wraps of electrical tape keeps everything in place if you dont have the right size rubber bands or "tire rings" Same thing goes for the other side.

I dont know how these will work yet, I picked them up mainly because the tread didnt overlap onto the sidewall like other SC tires tend to. Figured it may hep with the rolling issue.

I run the goosebumps on my 4x4 and they are great! They do roll a little do to their softness.
Break it, so you can upgrade it!

Why do you have to tape or clamp the outside tire when glueing ?

keeps pressure all the way around the tire, and the bead neatly in place.

If you used the stock foams you will still get side bite, the foam is a bit soft. You may have to trim the outter set of knobs or at least every other(like I did) and I also put in the the proline blue gel foams, that stiffened the tire up for racing. If you are just bashing the stock foams are fine.

So you tape 1st and then apply the glue or do you want to glue 1st and then quickly apply the tape ?

tape first then apply the glue. tip of the glue bottle fits easily between the tire and rim
