    Custom Scale Livery Slash 4x4

    Just painted this up, thought you guys might want to see it. Slash 4x4 PE, the included body.

    I wanted to do something a little different then what you typically see in RC, more of a scale race car/truck livery instead of the standard fade/flames/tribal stuff.

    Its the second body I have ever done, so let me know what you think!

    Very nice job, especially for only the second on you've done. Is the third color on that "window tint" along with the red and black?

    The metallic gray is a custom paint I mixed myself from Faskolor Charcoal pearl and Silver. I couldn't find the color I was looking for so I just made my own ;-)

    Thanks for the comments guys.

    Yeah it was done with an airbrush, but could just as easily have been done with rattle cans if they had the color I wanted. The key was liquid mask and a steady x-acto knife hand. Oh and a lot of sketching on paper and with dry erase markers on the body itself to get the design the way I wanted it :-)
