i have the battery expansion kit installed , i have tenergy 2s 5000mah's and ********* 2s 5000mah's , two of each and two have a 30c discharge and the others have a 20-25c discharge but they dont fit to well even with the expansion , i wanna run them both at the same time making 4s , for now i have tried two 2200mah 3's packs that i have left over from my mini revo and they fit fine . so i only had a chance to run 3s up and down the street once until the pinion came loose , im waiting on the locktite to dry now. but for that quick run it was quick and wheelied with ease so i put the wheelie bar on it.

I only ran it up the street one time on 3s and the pinion came off on me so i picked up some locktite and have it sitting , on 3s for that one quick run it ran really good and it felt very fast , i can tell im gonna need to tune the esc and turn the start power down for starter's. I just bought a few 2s packs to run in series making 4s but it looks like they are not going to fit in the slash even with the battery expansion kit..

I can do wheelies with my vxl on 3s, with my jconcepts on it.
Break it, so you can upgrade it!

yeah a vxl should be able to do them also , just adjust the slipper properly and make sure you have some good battery packs.

Lookin good! Did you have an issue fitting the receiver box and not sandwiching the servo cable? My servo wires is squished between the receiver box and the servo case.

yeah its squished a little bit but it should be fine , as for the wheelie bar it def. fits a 2wd slash , that is actually what i have it left over from.

Ditto on the servo wire clearance problem. Time will tell if rubs through. Unfortunatley, its right next to the servo case and not an easy spot to repair.
