Has anyone given in to their innermost basher demon tendancy and actually run this thing on 6S? (My inner demon is telling me not to worry about barrel rolling through my neighbors bedroom window at 80 )

Is 6s required to reach the 80mph that Traxxas implies is possible?

I would like to see it done, I may pick up a battery to give her a try....

I was going to part with my MMM/2200 combo but now I am not...

I am installng the MMM ESC as soon as the bullet connectors get here, I looked tonight and I dont have to move the RX box if just installing the ESC and not the 2200 motor. I still ordered a Stampede RX box and I am going to move it anyway for quick motor swaps!

Now I have to find a battery!

I read on the S-Grid it has been tried and hit 91 before the front wheel exploded...... .....their goal is to break 100. I don't know what gearing they used. Hopefully they will have video.

Moving the RX box is pretty simple. Just make a plastic plate that screws to the existing mounts (that would otherwise mate to a rustler radio box) then screw the slash radio box to that plate.

Only other thing you will need is a servo extension cord as the VXL cord will no longer reach. But if you were swapping to a MMM anyway you will want external access to disconnect the ESC for programming anyway (so you don't have to open the radio box to do it every time)..

Ends up a pretty clean install. I'll have to take pics of it some day.
