Very tempting but still holding back...

Decided to go to the local hobby store today and there sat 3 Slash 4X4's. Very tempting i will tell you, especially seeing "Round" and his MT version. My son wanted me to get two right there, but will still hold off until I can part ways with my Rustler VXL! He is 7 and looking forward to bashing together.

Just do it. Once the money is spent you'll never look back. Get the 4x4 for your son, set it on training mode and start trying to sell you Rusty. Just my two cents, I sold my 2wd and a few others to step into a new PE, glad I did.

Ahhh...that's what happened to me. I was in the hobby shop when the UPS guy was delivering them....I came home with 2 of them...one for the little boy and one for daddy! He's only 4 1/2 but he can get around a track pretty well...the 4 x4 makes it a little easier for him than the 4 x 2. When he gets in his daredevil moods (taking the jumps at full throttle), than I put him down to training mode. He doesn't like it when I do that!

get the 4x4 its a great truck and fast to even in training mode.

I also have been debating on selling the rusty, but the wife may not be happy with me getting two 4x4's without selling it.

Similar problem here. Luckily I sold it to my brother, so if I ever get the itch to run it again it's not far away.

I'm definitely not get rid of my Rusty. It's set up for street use and this will be my offroader. Perfect combination!
