I've been running the Tekno's for a couple of months now and they are great. Just now installing the MIP Hvy Duty on my P4de to see how they are.

How did this thread get so buried?!?!?

Here's my sl4sh. No special upgrades really as the stock parts have been holding quite well for me. 2.2 mashers on revolver rims, 56t spur and 11t pinion, emaxx body, heat sink for the motor and ofna diff lock in the diffs running on 2s 7600 lipos.

Just joined the site. Mine is only a 2wd, but found this thread and I decided I wanted a MT and didn't want to buy a stampede as the slash is such a great truck to begin with. Figured I would share.

I also just purchased a Castle Sidwinder SCT setup that will replace the current xl5 in the truck to give it some more Go.

This is how it started..just a plain old slash

then I added some stampede wheels/tires and trimmed the body

Then I decided I wanted more so I got a proline silverado HD body and raised body mounts.

Currently in the process of making a BackSlash, until all of the parts come in I decided to make it a monster truck again. Mounted the new wheels and tires, 17mm adapters, and aluminum rear hub carriers.

    New wheels compared to stock:

Thanks. The body mounts are the ones that came with the Jconcepts body "just cut and drilled to fit" The wheels are RPM 2.2" Revolvers "wide offset" with Proline Badlands. I took my favorite parts of the other members MT's to assemble mine. It was very nice seeing all the wheel combos and body styles that could be used, so thanks to all the other contributors who posted their pictures.

That's pretty much it. With the motor esc combo there was really no need to do any driveline upgrade. It's more of a shelf queen anyway.

really like that stance, did you just buy 1/8 buggy shocks and mount them into a slash thats it? looks like its raised up and you have aftermarket wheels and tires?

    hi guys,

    I read here and there,
so, basically, the EMAXX body will fit with no other parts needed?
just raise the body mount? or I'm missing something?
I want to go Monster Truck too...
just ordered one E-Maxx body with Stampede 4x4 wheels

I need to order some more stuff?
    thank you!

It does look better with a protrac suspension kit as the wheels can rub the body. Here was mine with proline trenchers and the protrac suspension kit. Pm me for any questions.
