MIP rear driveshafts
RPM red A arms
RPM shock towers front and rear
proline trenchers on desperados
RPM chrome bumpers
RPM wheelie bars
jconcepts overtray
25mm 12mm hex wheel extensions
orange springs
Great looking ride dog! Let us know how you like the wheel extensions.
Those stub axles are gonna be put to the test for sure! I'm very interested in hearing how they do in the next few days or so, both MIP's and front stock ones. Goos looking rig, arms are pretty trick too.
I'm not a hatchet man! I'm a maggot!
No. When I first ran the body it rubbed a little in fast turns. Since I have run it for a while now the body has worn away a tad and it does not rub anymore.
Just got my tires and now it's time to paint the body. I am really looking forward to giving this thing a spin. I got the rpm 2.2 wheels and some j concepts rocx for tires.
How soft are the rocx tires? Got some Proline Flat Irons and they are a bit too soft
Well I got my MT Slash 4x4 done and it turned out pretty well. Can't wait to take it for a spin!![]()
well here mine is, finally decided to convert my basher 4x4 slash to a MT,
Used a stock EMAXX body, extended body mounts, 2.8 proline trenchers and doubled up the shocks at the rear for MEGA jumps! (stole the EMAXX idea) turned out pretty good!!

Did you paint the rockstar graphics?
no, i just got a vinyl sticker set from Ebay and just painted the yellow and black
What is everyone using for raised body posts? Part#?
Caution, this message contains words.
I just used some nylon spacers from the hardware store with longer screws under the stock body mounts. I believe they were 1/2" in length.![]()
does anybody make 2.8 rims with a 17mm hub thanks
I just converted mine last night. I have a couple of small things I still need but it's almost done. I need some heavy weight shock oil and a few long screws but I've been up all night just staring at it. Lol ..I feel like such a kid. Haha

Posted this pic to my rollcage thread but figured I would add it here also. The badass trucks in this tread inspired my MT conversion. I spent hours painting my first body and tray cover. Unfortunately, I only took one pic before I had bashed it and ruined the paint. (I will post it later) Recently, I was bored so I repainted that body on the outside. (why it is all black) I also trimmed it to fit over my roll cage. I thought this came out pretty well which is why I decided to post. Let me know what you guys think....

I'm going to turn my sons p4de grave digger into a slash 4x4 MT. Just need to find out what I need to get besides a new chassis. Definately going with 2.8 trenchers on desperado's. Dual shock setup, let him choose the body. Should be fun!

1.Chassis.
2.Center driveshaft
3.Receiver box
4.Body mounts, and post
5. 2.8 tires
6. HPI-savage-emaxx body
FLM - EMAXX
The receiver box is the same that comes on the 2wd pede if I understand correctly. If so, I have one of those sitting around. X-mas can't get here soon enough for me to work with my son on this project. Going to do matching bodies as well.

In order to run the 2.8 wheels, you will need a 17mm wheel adaptor set. Another option is to run 2.2 wheels. You will have to pay attention to the offset to avoid interference with the steering components, but there are several that will work. The RPM Revolvers are my "go to" because they come in a wide offset, are tough, good looking and cheap, and come in chrome or black. RC4WD has a ton of 2.2 tires for several applications
Yeah....I though about that after I hit post. Should've said "MIGHT need...."
