Finally got my slash i am sooo stocked im just waiting on my battery to come and i need to paint my body and then i am ready to go so glad i did all the upgrades and dyed the chassis before i even started driving it

My Slash 4x4 with the cut up body, had to mod it to fit the bigger Talons, much more stable with them especially with a 6s lipo.
The other body (intact) will be a custom paint job,,

MY BACKSLASH:
May 2012 conversion of a Traxxas Slash 4x4 to a Buggy. This conversion used an 1/8 Scale J-Concepts Mugen buggy body, Proline wing and Hot Bodies Wing Mounts. RPM Revolver 2.2 wide rock crawler wheels and Axial Rock Lizard tires.

14rs pearl mettalic yellow transformers "bumblebee" look at request of the kids - shoe goo'd too early (paint not fully dry!) so some of black backing leached through - gutting as colour is lovely in real life:

My Slash 4x4, bought it well used.

After a quick cleaning, the bodyshell bumpers are cracked in a lot of places.

It's insides after the cleaning.

Gave it a new body and bumpers.

So far its been upgraded with the following:

My upgraded slash with brand new body off an ebay auction for $80. inside is a MMP with a 2400kv motor and a 2s 5000mah 40C Sky Lipo.
