just finished up my new body for my 4x4,and added new split six wheels with gridirons and an outerwears.

I was pretty pumped when I hopped up my first 4x4 slash. I think within 2 weeks I had most upgrades available minus electronics (which are next).

Upgrades include:
Proline flo-tek body (custom airbrushed)
Rpm body mounts, rpm shock towers, rpm lower a arms, rpm front and rear bumpers, rpm shock mud guards
King Headz motor mount
STRC carbon fibre motor plate
STRC battery hold down
STRC steering bellcrank
Tekno front and rear cvd's
Traxxas sway bars
Traxxas velineon speed control fan
Proline powerstroke shocks (f&r)
Traxxas front caster and toe links (f&r)
Outerwears chassis filter/guard

Even after burning 3 esc's in less then a year i still love my slash

OK so sometimes you really like a part for your Slash but you cant find it in the color that you would like Dye it. I used Rit dye (1) heat up some water (2) get a container that you don't care about (3) add dye to the hot water and add the parts that you would like to dye (4) remove parts rinse with cold water and you are done. Before After The parts in the pics are RPM Shock Guards

Decided to try some hpi rear shocks in the front of slash 4x4. I painted some rustler red rear springs to use for it, the progressive were to springy. With the wheels on and sitting, the arms are flat even. Should give me more droop like my rear suspension. Will keep posted on how it handles.

Here is my Slash 4x4 with Castle 3800kv, basically stock other than that.
Its not perfect but im pretty proud as it was my first time really painting a body that required masking. Will definitely buy liquid mask next time!
I wanna do some racing with it now, just finished up most of the Slayden setup.

broke a steel CV drive shaft so I'm rock'n 2wd for the time being, so might as well make the best of it

This is my first attempt at painting. this is a proline baja bug on a 4x4 ultimate. It's a candy apple red and pearl white, but, the camera doesn't really pickup on the brightness of the colors.

Now it looks like this. And this is the second repaint! Add me to the "wrong paint club". Oh well they sent me two bodies instead of one. Need to figure a more elaborate scheme for the next one.

Most beneficial mod I ever did. Although the scte 4x4 shocks are awesome.

My first attempt at painting a RC body. TRD, Toyota and Wicked TRD on back are all painted. Didn't turn out as I had hoped but for a first attempt I am happy with it.

did a little playing around at the local track yesterday. they just rebuild 2/3's of it, so it's taking some getting use to again (not that I was very good on it before, lol)

but still rocking 2wd... stupid Techno axles... can't wait for tax return money to show up so I can order some MIPs... SOON!
