Just Got My New Slash 4x4 in the mail just after lunch on Saturday. Then It Started Raining



Rained all day Sunday and is still raining Monday Morning....



Should have bought a Boat... lol

Only about 10 total runs on plain grass in the yard. And no jumps, Just some bad luck hitting the edge of the pavement where it meets the grass. I had to cut the fenders off die to them flapping around cracked.

So im sitting on the phone with my buddy telling him I dont know what to do with my extra Lid from my PE edition when he says "I dunno, do a Star Wars theme".. to which I reply "Ok if your not going to help then just dont suggest anything"....

Then i got to thinking.. why NOT a star wars theme?

So, took a storm trooper, and threw it on my lid and this is what I got!

Here is my new shell

Finally finished my UFC body. it took a long time using xxx main picture glue. there are a few blemishes that upset me but at least its done. all ufc sponsors are under the paint and traxxas stickers on top.







I cant wait to get new wheels for it.

I think I liked the original look a little better, but the bigger/better tires required me to start removing some fender material for clearance, which meant the fender flares had to come off, and that dampened the look a bit. Plus, with other folks following my idea, it was time for me to take another step away from the ordinary to keep it unique
