Its a bit strange to complement yourself. I didn't bother to post earlier because you didn't really give any specs.

Horrible fail in sooo many aspects haha but anyways the specs on the Emachines EL1300G-01w are as follows

    Processor - AMD Athlon 2650e / 1.6 GHz
    Ram - 2 Gigs DDR2 SDRAM
Hard Drive - 160 SATA at 7200 RPM
Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE w/ 128 mb dedicated memory (could'nt find the stream processor count)

Overal you could definatly play some games on your system but if you wanted to play any rediculus games you are going to want to upgrade your processor because its pretty slow now days. As for modding the case its do able but you will have a limited ammount of space to work with being its a compact case.

I personally have never used this website before but a co worker told me it was a great site to buy case mods from www.frozencpu.com

    Hope this helped a bit.

FrozenCPU is a great company to deal with, small locally owned, great customer service (they are located ~15 min from my house)

the Enzotech Extreme-X processor cooler in my rig came from there as well as a few other heat sinks, fans and power supply...

thnx a million Kreg67. i really dont need a lot of room for what i have planned.
which may sound kind of silly, but it may be a 1st.
im thinking of adding blue LEDs and 2 or 3 GI Joe action figures.
1 being a spy & the other 2 will be security.
i already have the theme planned out & it looks good in theory.
has any1 tried or seen this done b4?
i also have a HP desktop which may be a better project build.
as far as gaming, i just want to play the simple games & i
guess thru trial and error, i'll figure out if my Emachine is any good.

Here are some internal shots with the uv cathods at night. I painted my Antec 850 PSU with clear uv paint, so it looks like nothing is going on.

My custome desktop is unusual. I consider my gaming eviroment my desktop. And it is custom. cost round 19 grand. But that includes bed, fridge, monitors and custom PC. I'll grab a pic for yas.

    Moon

Here is the game station. Fridge is the steel looking box. My Hospital bed with air mattress that is the brunt of the 19 grand. My PC and swing around monitor.

    [IMG][/IMG]

And right in front of the bed is my console station.

    [IMG][/IMG]

So all I have to do is get comfy grab a brew or cola and go to town!

hacking up your case is easy. Jig saw and holw saws and a drill and your set. Just lay masking tape where you cut. And when you put your plexi in gust double side velco it in. Makes cleaning alot easier. PC mods is very fun.

tmaxxchump that case is sick. Whats it called? I need a new case because I got this case without a side panel. Good to see they're a lot of nasty computers out there. Did'nt know if this thread would even stay active. Thanks for posting all.

it's an antec 1200 and i LOVE it. it's huge, heavy, and i'm sure you can put any of the new, massive video cards in without a problem. I put a zalmans fan controller because i was sick of the rear hi/med/low switches.

I love this back panel, because you can hide so many of the cables and wires. this is the front

this is what the back looks like with half the wires.

My cathods are on custom switches that are accessible from the front.

This is my old Chieftec Matrix

Here are some better cable mgt pictures.

Note that my cathodes have all been moved also, because I got 4" cathods to fit in my drivebays. the others were moved to the ceiling, so you cannot see it on the floor. Next order I'm getting two more 4" cathods, one blue and one red. i'll put them on a switch, so the front will be red, white, and blue together, all uv and green, or all white.

    Bottom by the PSU

    Top

This is the latest cable mgt pic. It's been redone and much more organized. Didn't take any pictures because my Zalman fan control LEDS died, and i was mad, so i just finished, and left it go.
