    Upgrade Parts

I have had my Jato for a while now (3-5 years) and I am thinking about getting some new parts and was wondering what your opinions on them are. Here are the parts:
New Era Models Upper Tray Reinforcement
New Era Models 2.2 Wheel Conversion
    Hot Racing Dual Brakes

*the tray reinforcement looks like it adds more weight if u want it reinforced get the golden horizons alunimum bulkheads
*i'd sudgest getting the hot racing 1/8 scale wheel conversion instead of the 2.2 wheels
*good choice on the dual brakes by hot racing

What tires and wheels do you use? 1/8 Buggy wheels and tires?
Does anyone know of any other 17mm wheel adapters, the hot racing ones are pretty pricy.

i love the dual brake set up ... as for the 2.2 convertion all i did was take some old grub screws from my t-maxx and reaplced the blue screws on the jato that part works for the rear but the front needs diff sized spacer for the bearings i have yet to start looking at it.

your kidding me right?...your talking @ adding weight, the tray reinforcement plate doesn't weigh anywhere near as much as an aluminum bulkhead set...

i have both the top plate reinforcement plate and the lower skid plate from new era installed on my jato and it WILL still pull wheelies on demand...

to the OP the top plate brace is a very good idea IMO...defiantly strengthens the front of the jato...but you can get a slightly lighter one...there is a carbon fiber one and billet one available...links below in the quote of one of my older posts...
