21 in my pede
Where can I find a motor mount for a .21 engine for my pede? And how much is it. Also is there a metal rear shock tower that will support a mip tuned pipe (the fiberglass one is just too weak)?

A .21 is way to much for a stampede to handel, go with a O.S .12 CV-X Hyper or somthin', as for the shock tower.....still looking...

If that is the case then why do they have motor mounts for .21 engines for the T-maxx. I'm sure the T-maxx's plastic is made out of the same plastic.

The T-maxx also weigh's twice as much as the stampede, is almost twice the size, and has two more wheels, and much more gears to turn then a stampede, you would not be able to keep the wheels on the ground with a .21, O yeah, and IF you got a .21, it wouldent matter about the 360 stinger shock tower because you would have to buy a complete new exsaust.

the tmaxx gear box is way different and it has 2 cluches one in the gear box and other on the engine and the tmaxx is alot bigger. im not saying its not possible to put a .21 in the stampede its just going to be hard to fit and you might strip alot of gears

if its not broke you dont need to fix it

Very true! Well, what about the shock tower? I made my pet pede flip, barrel roll, and all kinds of bangs and the new shock tower didn't stand a chance, while the stock shock tower could take it all day.

Kart racer.......
I've seen guys successfully install .21's in n'4tecs...my friend has one...and so I wouldn't doubt that it is possible. The problem (as everyone suspects) is in the gears but if you were to gear it down to say a 22/65 (or lower) combo and run the clutch loose it should help a little. Still, the gears weren't designed for 1.9+ hp. I would also change to CVD's and heavy duty pro ball diffs.
I think a longer custom chasis would be required to control wheelies...which will be enhanced by the extra HP...and make it possible to add adjustability for gear mesh.
I don't think anyone makes aftermarket Al shock towers that'll accomodate the MIP stinger for the n'pede. You're looking at building a custom/one of a kind n'pede. Chi-ching$$$$$ Good luck!
