    new slash

Hi, guys always been a nitro man with several t-maxx's & a revo that I never liked....Got my son a slash for x-mas, it arrived today so I unpackaged it to take a look, thinking an electric r/c is a toy regardless of the make. Well all I can say is was I ever impressed with the slash. Looks very well made & is an awesome looking machine. i like it so much I now have a slash 4x4 on order for myself............. the slash looks to be an awesome truck!!!!Very impressed!!

Great car. A bit slow out of the box, but great nonetheless. IMO, i would say electric rcs have gained alot of respect the past few years..

I dont think YOU would be impressed with the power. Until you get a brushless sytem and lipos..then it will pwn your t maxx's

Remember, this car is not made for onroad, so stock out of the box, you WILL flip..ALOT.
Offroad..its a whole new experience. Priceless IMO.

Itll be great for your son though..he will love it.

Glad you like........, I mean LOVE your son's slash by looking at it, but performance, you better get ready to really start lovin' it. Have fun w/ your 4x4 in the future and yes, your son will be speechless too. lol

    +1.

Youll be surprised at how durable it is. Ive done a experiment..in which i record my BAD crashes, and i see how many it takes before something breaks. It been 2 months now, i have flipped 35 times (sometimes im to lazy to record..so expect more than the number i put out). Crashed straight into a wall 3 times at speed (around 35mph). ive done head to head with another slash about 12 times (ranging from 2mph-30mph). landed 16 bad jumps, and flew of a 8ft cliff. And nothing has broken yet! (instead of a spur gear..but im sure that was my fault..probaly kept on the throttle after a jump). And spur gears are a 5min fix for about $3..so not bad IMO.
