I like the Ofna micro failsafe. If you get a 2.4 ghz radio. most have them built in and you can find some real basic ones for pretty cheap anymore.

4wd Sportmaxx 3.3
E-Revo - Mamba Monster - Neu 4s
+1 on the Ofna micro failsafe
Plus you can hide it away inside the RX box on board
JATO 3.3 - On Steroids!!
Revo... What Revo?
I use the Duratrax DTXM4000 on my Jato 3.3. It's small enough to fit in the receiver box and it includes 2 small lights (green and red) for status indication. It protects against low receiver battery power (below 3.8V) and loss of radio frequency. It's also about $5-$10 cheaper than the Ofna ones at most hobby shops. The Ofna's are nice too---so, either one will work just fine.

He who dies with the most toys wins !!!
I used the Ofna failsafe and it was great. I made a custom receiver box cover for it too. check it out>>>>>> http://monster.traxxas.com/showthrea...=jato+aluminum
i had a bunch of problems with my failsafes kicking on with perfectly good batteries,(tried different brands of failsafes and batteries). I bought a spektrum system and have never had an issue.
I went with the duratrax for a while...then got a tactic 2.4ghz and it has a built in one...but no brakes failsafe...nutral.
But both worked fine for me.
R/C is expensive...
Im using a Futaba FSU2 adn so far no issues with it, its really small and relitivly cheep
Thanks
