i first started wanting a 1/16 erevo vxl but now that i heard the slash 4x4 is coming out i thought it would be cool to convert it into a 1/8th scale buggy
which one would be funner in the longrun for bashing and running at the track?

I think the new slash would be more fun for what you are saying you want to do.
2 Slash 4x4's, B/L Rusty, and a Crawler
i dont know how to turn it into a buggy, but i think the 4x4 is more track worthy
slash 4x4 should be better at most things.
better offroad
spose to be a good track machine
bigger
should be tougher
rtr slash 4x4
2s lipo
some other rc stuff
a guy converted the 2wd version before and it looked great
its on http://www.ultimatetraxxas.com/projects/backslash/
its called the traxxas backslash
i assume by the looks of the slash 4x4 that it will be just the same for conversion
The E-Revo VXL (1/16th) is very good on the track, but not so much for bashing. It has a bit of trouble going through High Grass or over really rough terrain. Don't get me wrong, on the track (or even on a baseball diamond) it does a great job and is a ton of fun, but if you want something more for bashing and running around in the yard I think the Slash4x4 is the way to go.
Savage-Modified!, E-Revo VXL, Slash 2wd, Mini-T
