    What Size Battery will FIT?

Trying to PREPARE for the 4x4 Slash.

Want to run an 3s in there. What are the dimensions of the Tray?

Is it the same as the Current Slash?

looks to be the same size as the current slash. with the option for battery expansion kit you will be able to run two 7 cell traxxas packs side by side. or one huge lipo.

Sorry.. Never owned a slash... I am trying to get some 3s for my ERBE and want them to work in the 4x4 Slash.

    ******* 5000mAh 3S 30C Lipo Pack
    Pack Size: 143 x 49 x 24mm ???

    ******* 5000mAh 3S 35C Lipo Pack
    Pack Size: 145 x 49 x 25mm ???

I need at least the 30C for my eRevo at 6s.

the turnigies that are 20c (still 49 mm wide) fit my bandit with the back wall cut out for extra length, so i would expect it to fit the slash with no mods

Yeah. I am worried about the width and length which the expansion kit won't address...

But its good that the bandit can handle 49 mm width.

I run the ******* 2s 5000mAh in my slash now and have no issue, only had to trim out a small hole for the wires to pass through. The expansion kit is already out, I picked it up for my slash to help hold the lipo since it sits lower only being 2s.

I have two of these kits. Also, you can go up to 6s if you put in a 1/8 brushless set up.

    Thanks Guys...

I am pretty sure that they will fit. Its a little WIDE and require a little dremeling

The thing is, if I ever go MMM, I won't be able to fit 2 of these even with the expansion kit since I need 48MM Height and the expansion only takes me to 42mm.

Do you all notice that none of the MaxAmp packs are over 3s 20c unless they put them in Parallel?

I wonder what the runtime would be with say 10 or 12,000mah pack!

Doesn't matter... I usually break something within 30 minutes of running at any track because I try to jump as far as possible...

I CAN'T help it.... Its so COOL when I can launch my eREVO over 40 feet
