The chassis was missing a few parts and one hole was not countersunk but I made a missing stand part and countersunk the hole so as to get this thing done...
The GE trans case had a problem or two also.. The parts did not fit up to well so I had to put them on the mill. It's a cast part and tolerances are bad.
The bottom screw holes are not tapped for enoug for two of the screws to fit so you have to shorten them to screw in the case?? Not perfect luck so far on both these items.... Ons thing is for sure thou... It is Sweet after the hassle.

It's a Xtreme Racing chassis and it says it can be used for a Rustler but it will extend it. I'll see what happens when I get it all together.

have to say, i saw this chassis on other pages and it looks very good, it's a little rustler and the rest is slash, but if you search photos, the top plate, the reciever mount , all slash, this chassis has slash written all over it!!!, very good chassis, I changed my mind from the aluminum xtreme chassis to this, definetly worth the money!!!, search it up at www.amainhobbies.com, its there

I could only find two low cg chassis and they wanted to much shipping for the one so I went with Xtreme but it takes a bit of work to make it work..
I also emailed Xtreme to repalce the parts that didn't come with it.. no word as of yet. Hope to race it this coming weekend and can see how she handles now.. Should work good.

integy came with a LCG chassis, no its not those heavy pieces of aluminum, its something like the xtreme and has more slash feel than the xtreme chassis, to me, it looks strong and better, theres 2 versions, a fiberglass, very sturdy to me, and a graphite, coudn't find any pics of it, only for the Fiberglass
to ME, it looks cool

Not sure about the Integy chassis but I got mine almost together now..
Need to make a plate for the esc and install the motor...
Should be ready to go in a day or two and then to the track to learn how to drive it all over again....he he

Man that thing ought to rip! I agree, with the 40c thunderpower the capacitors are over kill,but you should have plenty of power on demand.

The whole set up came out of my drag funny car (using a 3c 5000 35C lipo), then the caps really help with full power loads for 1.5 seconds, 89 mph... Tekin RX8 and a 4.5 sensored motor...It goes REAL good in the slash....he he

Well I have gone to two races with this chassis set up and was way off the first time out... Last night I had much better luck and had it tuned closer than ever... 7th out of 10 in the A Main so not so good on my part but it wasn't the trucks falt completely...he he
I was running Goosebumps all the way around in the first practice and it came back with all the Nylon Traxxas 2.2 wheels cracked and broken...?
I had some spares that were almost as bad and had a rear tire floppin off the rim by the time the last race was finished... The store at the track was out of wheels??? just my luck.
Just order some JC 2.2 x 3 wheels and goosebumps to match and hope this stops my problems..
If you want a racin chassis I highly recomend the Xtreme chassis.. They have a great product and great customer service.
Lots of fun and a totally different truck now.
I also was able to tame the 4.5 Tekin set up since the RX8 is so flexable to tune with.. 118 temps all night.. (16/90 gears).the alum trans case sure makes a differance too...............>
I put RPM 2 stage pistons in the shocks and went with purple in the rear (60wt oil) and green in the front , with 50 wt. Much better than it has ever been.. These things are the ticket in my book.
All RPM shock parts, Traxxas steering parts. 5000 TP 2s 40c lipo.
