Any chance at an Indianapolis race in the future?

I would like to suggest a short course race date in the racing capitol of the world---Indianapolis,Indiana. I am unable to travel too far to attend races because of work but I would love to see a TORC series event in Indy. I would probably run in at least 2 classes (Salsh,1/16th Slash and a 4X4 Slash will be in my vehicle stable)of the r/c races held in conjunction with the 1/1 scale trucks.

P.S. I hope to see the TORC truck in Chicago at IHOBBY in 10 days or so.

I wish something exiting in the rc world would come to Indy! There's only less than a handful of tracks here and I've seen better ones in peoples back yards. I think if someone pushed for it rc could be a big hit here in Indy if the word could get around.

Great to see you at iHobby MDB!

TORC is only going to grow, and a race at Indy would indeed be awesome. As the title sponsor of TORC, I'm sure Traxxas can get the ear of the guys running the show, but we don't control the ultimate destiny of the series.

By all means, let's talk about all the places we'd love to see TORC go in 2010 and 2011. But if you want to be sure TORC gets the message, go here:

You guys at Traxxas put on a great show at IHobby. I talked to various members at the booth about varying products and got all my questions answered wether it was about the Slash 4x4 or that you guys went above and beyond by going across the display and getting Steve Slayden to give me some very helpfull pointers on set-up on my 1/16th scale Slash.

Also--- I was 90% sold on the 4x4 Slash before IHobby and after watching theSlash 4x4 on the test track driven by the Traxxas drivers and the "guest drivers" pushing the Slash 4x4 very hard and beating the stuffing out of it without breaking. That put me over the top. I am now 100% sold.

P.S. I put in a request at the above website for a Indy race.

Thanks MDB! Traxxas really appreciates any opportunity to talk to the customers. There's no Traxxas without you!

Indy has a wintertime offroad rc track on west side of town. I haven't been around much but I think it could be considered pretty nice?
