    New Addition to the Homepage!

It now says: "Available December, Suggested Selling Price $399"!
So, this answers all of the price and time questions!

Also, Is the suggested selling price higher or lower than they will realistically be going for?

$399 is what you might call the "street price," the amount you can expect to actually spent at a competitive hobby store. --Pete

Most of us bought our 2wd
    Slash $200
    VXl $160
    Total $360

    So 4wd + vxl + 2.4 $399 sounds about right

I know this 4x4 is one of the coolest things recently, but do you think they'll lower the price t othe 2wd , or update it with the new body or something. I really like the new model, but it's kind of $$$ and was wondering if the 2wd would still be popular for racing and stuff.

$75 is not a common number in pricing a product, but $79 is. IMO it'll be 379.99 street price in the US

If it is Suggested Listing Price is MSRP, then we should see it for around 369-379 (shot in the dark), but who knows!

Do you remember what happened with the Summit last year?

The date was pushed back from late December to February...

So, don't get your hopes up...

I think that is very good value. Consider that an Emaxx is 385$ and you need to buy a charger and 2 batts for that! Although it is a smaller truck I think 400 is a very reasonable price for the 4x4!

I think we'll get them out for early December without any hitches. Put your dibs in at your favorite shop now, they're gonna go fast!

Well, I guess the math is not that straighforward. If you take the stock motor, esc, and the radio out from stock slash then that would put it in the $120 ball park. Add vxl ($160), 4wd components and radio and you are looking at $340 max. It's an overkill for 400 bucks IMO. Lot of options within Traxxas family in that price range.

You guys are forgetting to mention that the Slash 4x4 also comes with a $40.00 series 3 traxxas 7 cell battery.

wether it comes in at 379.99 or 399.99 its still a great price!
If the price is to much for you than you can always NOT BUY IT and get a 2wd Slash and be left behind

    4x4 slash+
    2.4 radio+
    vxl system+
    series 3 battery= great deal
