    Slash 4x4 conversion

    Is it possible to take a front axle from one of thes and put it on a Slash?

    There's got to be a way to convert my 4x2 to a 4x4. The two share lots of parts. Some may just be mounted differently.

    They don't really share any parts. This is a completely new designed truck with everything else they have done left in the past.

    They share a battery strap, some shocks, some screws, maybe the steering servo. Maybe the body mounts are the same, I havent compared.

    But basically there is no way to convert one to the other.

    They do share a few parts, but the Slash 4x4 is practically a whole new truck, once you look at it. The chassis is a lot different, the differentials completely different, front and rear bulkheads completely different, main transmission completely different, and in a different location on the main chassis.

    Just look at the chassis photos and see for yourself.

    You would porbably end up spending more trying to convert a 2wd Slash to 4wd than what it would cost to just buy the Slash 4x4, plus you get the electronics.

    if you drill a hole thru your battery for the driveshaft, then redesign the magnum tranny to accept said driveshaft, and then redesign the chassis to accept a bulkhead containing a differential then it can be done! hahaha sorry there isnt a way to convert the truck
