    The Official Slash 4X4 Thread

Hopefully you've seen all of our release--you guys are swamping our server! It's all good, we know you're excited. We're excited too! I can't wait to get mine! I can tell you this, Slash 4X4 is twice as fun as it looks in the video. Hella fast, tough as nails, and man, that 4WD just pulls. Too much fun. You'll see!

I was hoping for a competition level 1/8 buggy/truggy. Oh well. I'll get one of these as well because love Traxxas vehicles! No center diff?

Price, under $400. Availability, early December. Center diff, yes. And you can install it in about three minutes! Just four screws, and the slipper is in your hand. The center diff just takes its place.

are the arms shared with anything else, or are they unique to the 4x4 Slash? I'm REALLY excited about this thing, it just looks so sick, and it with all that power and 4WD to put it down, I would expect it to simply walk away from anything except MAYBE the OFNA or Jammin 4wd SCTs on track, and even then I think it would be a reasonably close fight. once my wallet's sufficiently portly, I'm DEFINITELY going to pick one of these up

Looks like if you get all the necessary parts for the conversion, you will end up with a 4wd Slash with Rustler wheels. Pretty much none of the parts are shared with the current electric line-up.

Does the battery expansion accessory allow for two 7 cell batteries to be run at the same time or to double the run time (as shown in the picture)?

they look like the stock rear slash arms from the pics, which will help keep the parts cost down. and u don't have to keep alot of spare in the tool box.

It does look like it's using Slash Rear A-arms all around. If that in the case then you can put Rustler Rear A-arms all around and get Rear offset wheels from the Stampede...raise the suspension, mount a MT body on it(like from a T-maxx???) and BAM...a 4x4 Stampede
