There are many different batteries out there. The debate over batteries runs very deep on here.

I can tell you this much that I have had Venom batteries myself and the two that I had both failed.

I have seen others on here that have no complaints. You won't get a clear answer. I got these and have had great luck with about 45 to 50 minutes of run time by my son. He is only 5 so he bashes on training mode. http://www.all-battery.com/84v5000ma...pack11346.aspx

I have venom 8.4 5000's and they aren't good batteries. You're much better off at cheapbatterypacks.com

If you buy venoms your gonna have to take them apart, remove the flimsy little battery bars and replace them with a good strong one, after that they work great

Take a look at Promatch Ener-g batteries, they are some of the best available. They have some 5000mah ones and they are at a good price.

i have Bc8dx chager and have loged all my batterys for a few months.
the best C cells for the price i have found are

    http://www.promatchracing.com/proddetail.php?prod=8460S (out of stock)
    http://www.promatchracing.com/proddetail.php?prod=8465 (out of stock)

Promatch 8.4v 5000mah always show 5200 mah+ with 80+ charges on my oldest set.
Venom 8.4 5000mah always show 4800 mah or less .
few other sets i have charged for friends or fixed for friends. i cant realy say for sure because i only charged them 1-2 times but most had less Volts and mah then stated on the batterys.

I found the Duratrax 4600 packs to be better than the 5000's.

And the Venom are unbelievably bad. I got 25.6mph out of a Venom 5000 7 cell in my Slash while I got 29.7 outof the Duratrax 4600 7 cell.
