What to Gear 1900kv Motor On Traxxas E-Revo

I just bought a 9XL ********* motor for my future Traxxas E Revo. I'm gonna run my Traxxas E Revo on 4s. I will be running my Traxxas E Revo mostly offroad in thin grass. I was wondering what gearing i should order with my Traxxas E Revo so my Traxxas E Revo doesn't strain/overheat the motor that bought for my Traxxas E Revo.

    Thanks

I would start the gearing pretty low. Probably around 35mph. Then gear up if your temps allow. Here's a speed calculator to help out. http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/_top_speed.html

ok i worked out 35mph to be 19/54. that should be decent right? do you think a 22 and 24 pinion be good options?

what tooth count would be good for some speed runs?

None. That motor is a spinning toaster of death. You'll be lucky if it's not toasty at 35mph.

That motor is good for 35mph and not a whole lot more. You can't monitor temps when the car is speeding away from you at 40+mph. I already had one of these motors shatter a rotor and take the esc out with it.

    In other words,
when you,re used to speeds above 35mph, buy a good motor like Neu/Castle, Medusa or something....I bought a "refurbished" Monster ESC for spare and also planning to get a cheap *********/Feigao.

Now I will save some money to get another Neu2200kv, those things seem indestructable
