Tenergy batt review + broken rear end w/pics. Now what to do to fix my broken frame??

Well first my Tenergy 1800mah 25c battery review:
The Tenergy batteries are fricken awesome!! With the stock gearing this car flys! 25+mph wheelies are not even a challenge. The challenge is keeping off the trigger enough to keep the car from doing many flips (which is how i broke the rear end clean off). From a stand still you can easily do back flips and land on on four wheels. The car is so fast i cant even begin to tell you how much of an improvement running just one of these batteries over 2 traxxas power cells in series is!

After raving about these batteries i did however brake the rear end clean off before i even finished running one of these batteries down. After doing many flips at speeds above 30mph i noticed my car was squatting in the rear really bad. After closer inspection i noticed i broke the piece of plastic just behind the battery vents and before the rear shocks which holds the rear end to the rest of the car. So now im at a loss of what to do??? Ive spent alot of money on this car an im not sure where to go from here... ????

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Also since i broke my car before i could run the battery down and its probably going to be at least a few weeks before i get it fixed what should i do with the partially run down lipo battery and fully charged battery that i didnt even get to use yet?

analyze everything thats broken, if you only replace the chassis theres a good chance you'll be in the process of installing it when you discover theres more parts you need and have to wait for

good IDK anything about battery mantainence...yet can't really suggest anything else about the broken chassis, no aftermarket chassis yet. Boiling the new one in water might help it flex better and prevent snapping, but is not a permanent solution.

If you are storing the lipos for an extended time you need to charge them to about half capacity, or to a storage setting if your charger has it.

I did the exact same thing to mine when I hit a reflector on the road at 50mph.. it cart-wheeled and snapped exactly the same. I ALSO snapped the rear diff housing... I'd check that too... Just buy replacement parts, the chassis is under $20 US so it's not bad..

I can't tell since that photo is too far away, but make sure those little guys (Circled in red) aren't snapped as well..

Are you referring to the black plastic that attaches on the underside of the chassis where the rear drive shaft skid plate attaches? Is that part of the rear diff? ...cuz i broke that too

Anyone know the part #s for the chassis and what ever the black plastic piece is on the underside that i broke?

Darn.. that sucks! How much does a new diff cost? Or can i just get a new diff case and swap my gears over to the new one? Also how hard is it so swap everything over on a new chassis?

Any one know the part numbers for the chassis and rear diff?

Would installing a wheelie bar help me out or is the revo on lipo power too much for a wheelie bar to handle? If it will help me keep it on the ground would someone recomend a good wheelie bar please. I was thinking about the new era wheelie bar but was unsure if there was anything better out there?

Also does boiling the new chassis really help?? It seams like it would make it more brittle but im no engineer.

Just a side note. SOMEONE SHOULD MAKE A STRONGER CHASSIS UPGRADE!!! hint hint wink wink because i would gladly pay a decent amount of money to avoid the hassle of replacing the chassis every couple of weeks.

    ^^^???

Could doing standing 360 flips and landing on the tires have helped weaken the chassis? I was soooo impressed by the power and ability to flip 360 and land in almost the same spot that i did it quite a bit.

Huh, that's what we were doing right before my chassis\bulkhead broke. But I did run it headon into a curb.. not very fast, but the fact remains.

YES! Doing that a lot could definitely weaken the chasis.

Also, if you want to keep the Front end down get the Center Diff option and install it while you have it all apart. Helps a lot when you're running Lipo's. It won't completely eliminate the Wheelies, but it does cut down on them.

So you're doing backflips on 2s? I'm still waiting for my lipos.
