    Spring rates???

I have seached through a few threads about springs, my question is should the spring rate be higher in the front and lower in the rear.IE-Tan(4.1) in the back and sliver(4.9) in the front???? Will this make the truck handle better???

I believe most people have heavier springs in the rear.

You got the spring rates mixed up... lighter Upfront, heavier in the Rear.
A very commonly used combo for the E-Revo by folks on here, myself included, is silver in the front, blue in the rear. These springs were the optional included springs that came with the kit. This combo really stiffens up the ride and gives good feedback over a mulitude of terrains, from off road to on road.
If you still have the springs handy, toss em in, and you'll be happy you did.

+1 Tho I will add that I would change the oil (go thicker I went 70 wt) and add the VDP kit...once I did that I really noticed a huge difference

I've been using 70wt over the summer and now that the temps are falling I think i might switch to 60, IDK yet. But the increase in shock oil weight over the stock 40 is awesome. Makes the truck seem more athletic if you will.

And if you do get the VariableDampingPiston kit @bigfol use the #2 hole setup.

I see your in the land of OZ, so if you order from another country, make sure to get all that when you do make a purchase. Dont know if it gets cold down there by you, but the 70wt works great in warm weather, and maybe buy the 60wt if you do have cold spells.

Im using purple in the front and black in the back.. i think thats how its setup.. rate 2.0 and 2.3 i think they are (im not home to check)..

but that was what was recommended for the slayer tuning setup.. now that im brushless, and an E-Revo chassis.. think i sould switch to the setup mentioned here? What would be the difference? stiffer then what im currently running, or softer?
