    This thing is a BEAST!

Ok, I got my batteries on saturday, and today I was outside on my fourth run with my erbe. I started going to my backyard doing wheelies and stuff when all of a sudden poof. no not another mmm exploding, another tire. lol. Since that happened I went inside and changed the rear tires to some chevrons from my 3906 emaxx. After about 2 min the tires were fully unglued and half off. After about 15 min of average street driving and some in the grass and a couple jumps to impress the neighbors, one of the cheverons came clean off the rim with the foam inside. Then I took it inside and put another tire from my maxx onto it, which managed to come unglued in a couple minutes. It was kinda fun for the little bit when it was still glued because it was sliding around and stuff but then it was just plain boring flipping constantly and fishtailing whenever i go above half throttle. Heres some pics:

Oh and might I add this was on 4s. Traxxas, you get an a+ so far on the erbe except on the tires. I give you a c-. I know that there are no stock tires out there on the market that can handle this, but I know traxxas, and they can do better. Dont you want to be the first to have belted tires stock on a monster truck? C'mon guys, Help us out.

Oh, and one more thing. What tires do you guys think I should get. I mostly drive on grass and pavement, and go from one to the other a bunch, but will also be driving on loose dirt occasionally too. I was thinking losi zombies b/c on their site they say that they are good for all surfaces. Also I dont want any chevron style tires, as Ive had enough of those in my e-maxx days.
    Thanks in advance!

    Yea, the Mashers are great tires as well. This is how I would choose;

If you spend 60% of the time on grass and 40% of the time on the street, get Badlands.
If you spend 40% of the time on grass and 60% of the time on the street, get Mashers.

its probably somewhere around 60% road 40% grass, so the mashers would be good, but I dont really want chevrons . Right Now Im looking at the zombie maxx's espically seeing winter is coming soon and htey would probably do better than mashers in snow with the deep treads. The seem to me like a mix between badlands and sand paddles, with the life of mashers.

Go get some Proline LPR Crimefighters or LPR Bowties, thney are nice and light, no sidewall flex and will run great on your ERBE, I have 3 sets of LPR Crimefighters and LPR Bowties nad another thing, you cannot destroy them nor will they ever come unglued. Badlands are nice, but I personally don't like them, but they do have a extreme amount of traction, that will result in broken axles and/or driveshafts. The prolines are 8.1oz a pice and set of 4 are 2.03lbs, which is very light. They will wear some if ran on asphalt which in that case you just get some road rages.
OH WELL, YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A TEKIN RX8...

I'm a little confused at how a truck being able to blow tires off the wheels gets the tires a C-. The nitro guys would LOVE to be able to do that. IDK about the "but I know traxxas, and they can do better..." either. So far my experience with TRX and most other tires I've tried is proving that nobody can do all that well. Moabs and especially M2Ks are the pleasant exception. I haven't run nor seen run the Badlands. Unfortunately even those three are saddled with a wobbling rep. What can ya do?

They are great tires, but absolutely not what he needs.

Its the fact that they tires that they put on here are not made to handle the insane power from the mmm

I think what we have here is a "Titanic" occurrence. In other words, there are times when design ability outstrips materials capability. There are very few tires that CAN handle an ERBE fully "loaded for bear."
I will agree with you on this: the glueing on the stock tires and the silly wheel beads earn a C- at the best.

Ok well I think that Im just going to get some more talons to replace the ripped one for now b/c they are so much more grippier on the erbe than they chevrons from my maxx on the erbe and the mashers are pretty much those only with grooves. Thanks though!

Dude, you WILL tear them...just buy Pro-Line tires and Pro-Line or JConcepts wheels, and you won't rip them anymore.

I may be in the minority here but I think the stock Talons are pretty good tires. I run 4S battery power with stock gearing and bash my ERBE hard, hammering on dirt, ashphalt and grass and I've had good experience with the stock tires. I think for guys to be ripping tires off the rim they must be defective from the factory JMO.

Check your sidewalls. The wheels cut thru the tires. It's a design flaw.

You may think that the mashers are just chevrons with grooves, but they hook better than talons everywhere. They don't rip and tear, and they kick asstronaut in snow.
