I would go with the 1600, after I varified that it fit.

they are a lot larger motors diameter wise than a typical 540 motor. therefore more torque, so really you could probably get away with the 2300kv. what i dont know is if it'll fit, im pretty sure i read a long time ago the bolt pattern WONT work with a typical e-revo motor mount. you'd have to custom drill the holes i do believe.

Those motors will not handle the rpm's like smaller, higher quality motors. If you run the 2300 on 6s, you are asking for a meltdown.

i didn tsee that he was gonna run 6s...ive never seen someone run one on 6s. They are supposedly rated for 36volts max, i would say no more tahn 6s...but like you said, they will probably heat up a lot. I believe they were meant for boats where a water cooling jacket is available.....

I know it's not really in the same price range, but I would try a CC neu, Flux or ERBE motor. I run the Flux, which I picked up on Ebay for 100.IMO There isn't really a good cheap motor for these.

I would also try to stick to 36mm motors, since the larger 45mm+ motors can cause fitment issues, or not even fit at all.
