    broken vxl advice

today i did a VERY big jump of a big hill, basically went at full speed and of a 20 foot drop, landed wrong and eventually it stopped rolling, nothing broke but then after closer inspection i found that the middle wire coming out of the vxl came out, the bit where the banana plug goes into, could i take the case apart and use the iron on it easily or should i wait the WHOLE weekend before i can get it fixed?

I resoldered two of them to "update" them from the style you have to having the plugs more easily accessible. It's not hard to do if you have a good soldering iron.

Mind did the same thing after a big hit. Never did get in replaced and there was no way to put it back together myself.

Whole thing ended up in the trash.
Nothing to see here people, move along...

By all means, if Traxxas UK will fix it free have them do it, I was only suggesting it for out of warranty service...
