    rusty to slash conversion???

    i am thinking of converting my xl-5 rusty to a slash, i was wondering does anyone know what i need to do this and do it right. i know about the body and body mounts im wondering about the chassis and suspension stuff. i have a 15t trinity motor and a 7 cell stick pack. if anyone has done this i would like to see some pics as well thanks.

    Your front body mounts are fine, you'll need the rear. You also are going to need the slash chassis, nerf bars, front/rear bumpers, skid plates, battery bar. I believe the A-Arms are the same, but won't swear to that. You will also need either to come up with a way to mount your receiver and antenna or you will need a slash receiver box and micro receiver.

    does the slash handle as well as the rusty? and is it worth my time and effort.

    hey just got a roller and it is so worth it to convert the time and money/effort.

    i think i prefer my rusty to my slash. but the slash with a LCG chassis would be best. havent got to compare them offroad really though.

    the Slash handles in a totally different way then the Rusty...i have both...
