I'm running 18/86 with stock motor and promatch racing 7c/4600mah pack. I also mow the track section of the yard on the lowerst mower setting which helps.

Cool. I wondered seeing that you were running larger tires and then also that grass is a good resistor.

You need to get a video up. Lol I think thats what everyone says but its cool to watch. How many others run with you?

We have a group of about 6 of us that run on 2 differant backyard tracks.

Ramps are simple 1/4 plywood, 2X4 and screws. Since the cars/trucks do not weight a ton you not need super strong bmx/skate style ramps.

6th picture shows a good example: top of ramp is a 2/4 running across the ply and 2 legs attached to the long 2x4 (I choose 6" legs for height).

My backyard is about the same size, looking at the last pic. With a different kind of grass..they grow pretty short and now get a little dusty due to the grass balding up by the tires, but now most of them are bald, so powerslides are in order I use a 16/90 gear for bashing in tight area like this..it gives the truck more throttle response, especially for the stock titan.
Myth busted: Blitz is not faster on the track.

If you can every shoot a video, I'd like to see how your setup runs on the grass.

I have similar track material in my backyard. I hold them down with 10" nails from Home Depot or Lowes.

    14" metal spikes
9" in ground - 4" thru tube - 1" above tube with 1/2PVC caps as safety tops

I did not want my dog to be running in the yard and cut her leg open on the metal spikes, plus it looks better then a peice of metal sticking up thru the tube
