    Ofna video

Don't know if this was posted yet did a search sorry if it was. Looks good. It really took those corners tight. I think my Slash can still take it

Hate to say it, but I think that truck is going to smoke the SCT class. It was dialed on that track.

Yeah with 4wd it has a distinct advantage over the 2wd short course trucks.

were those pro-line switch tires mounted on stock slash wheels?!

coming with a clear pro-line hardcorr body is a huge plus IMO

EDIT: maybe its time for people to start buying brushless e-revos and converting them to e-slayers... mamba monster powered 4wd sc truck!

Tamiya had them years ago . Traxxas wasn't the first to make a SC truck, they were just the first to get the class to explode and actually make a SCT worth bashing or racing.

who ever was driving was very good, looked like they knew the track quite well too

looks fast, will a 4wd be allowed in 2wd classes? or is SCT not a 2 or 4 wd rule thing?

I do not race, just wondering

No you'd have another class. You are dead right about the driver being very good. That's the main key to winning. I hope Traxxas brings out a 4x4 Slash.

Hate to say it but the Slash CANNOT hang with that thing. Even the best driver is going to lose with a Slash. That truck looked very well built and jumped nicely. I wonder what kind of basher it will make. OFNA is usually good at making bashing material.

If traxxas made an E-slayer to compete with this (ok, not compete, but barely keep up in a race), I would pay $450 if it came with MMM. $350 if brushed.

Yea, of course the slash can't hang w/ it. It's 2WD. And that Jammin', that's another racing brand who's to come out w/ a SC truck.

The SCRT is based off of the buggy/truugy platform. It utilizes 3 oil-filled differentials. This will be a serious Short Course truck. But it will have to be in a class of its own.

Yes, thank you for clarifying. That's very true. No other truck like it yet. And we dn't know if the Jammin' is or isn't in the same class as the Ofna right?

    THE FIRST SC trucks

True that!! Here's the pics if any of you are wondering what the first 'scale' SC trucks looked like.

It's the Tamiya F-150 race truck. Produced in 1990. Based on the DF-01 buggy chassis, it's 4WD, all independent suspension, it's slightly smaller and A LOT lighter than the slash. I still have this DF-01 Tamiya chassis..but it's nowhere as tough as the slash. But being a Tamiya...it's the scale looking realism and ease of build that made tamiya so much loved. Just look at that body even the tires are licensed BFG M/T with the same tread pattern as the real counterpart.
Myth busted: Blitz is not faster on the track.

Not really a class of its own, The RB50 or whatever that robotronic truck is and the SC8 all have 3 diffs and truggy platforms with buggy arms. The slayer runs with those two and I'm sure so will the SCRT10.

The SC8 is 1/8th and nitro, the RB50 is also 1/8th and nitro, and the slayer is nitro, the SCRT10 is 1/10th and electric, so technically it wont be able to run in those classes

The slayer is 1/10th and if you read the Jammin Article it states the truck will be avail in Nitro and Elec. So technically I dont see why it wont run in those classes until we see some more 4x4 nitro sc's.
