What led kit did you buy, and how was the installation?

Good looking truck. I like the paint, great color clean and simple.

Do your tires rub the body much? It seems like it would but it may just be the angle of some of the pics.

    Good work!

It's the 10mm kit from ebay with a twist. I installed a extra 4 led light in the upper bumper. The power is being supplied by the receiver, so no 9v battery. It's really bright for the night.

Thanks, I think they will rub a bit. I plan to raise the body up (body was setup low just for pics) and trim slightly.

Thanks =). I also have wipers, not functional, but adds some realism. Decals are mainly traxxas on the jconcepts body. The Jconcepts decals sucked.

I suppose you don't really run this setup right? Because the tires are rubbing the body if you stare at it wrong.

One of the nicest setup I've seen though

Nope, gonna test the setup this week. The front tires actually just barely clear on full compression due to the negative camber. The rears don't, but I plan to add some camber and use the rpm low profile hex pieces to give more clearance.

Did it's 1st run today, performed amazing. Less flipping than stock and it was tons of fun on the 3s and vxl.

Thanks guys !. Just installed the tactic 2.4ghz radio. Very nice, only uses 4AA batteries for the transmitter and no more antenna wire or tube!

Did some night testing tonight. Loved the extra range of the 2.4ghz and noticed even with the 2s it will wheelie pretty easily on pavement. Think I will need a wheelie bar when I use the 3s.

Ran them on synthetic grass this past weekend, they hooked up really well considering it was a bit damp from the rain. So far the wear is pretty good on the tires.

Nope no rubbing at at all. I used the low-profile rpm hex pieces, added a bit more rear camber and slightly trimmed the body. Works great and the truck rolls over less now.
