    Going Lipo

I am going Lipo and I am not sure exactly which batteries to get because I am not sure which ones will fit.

    I am looking at

    https://www.*********.com/*********/...idProduct=9323

    or

    https://www.*********.com/*********/...0C_Lipoly_Pack

Will one or either of these packs work? Also can I run them just one at a time?

Great find. If you read the comment box for the 1550, there's a guy that says he's using it for the 1/16 e-revo and it's a great fit. What a coincidence!

What I don't understand is how these are so cheap. I just bought a HYPERION 1600 MAH 3S 11.1V LIPO BATTERY 1/16 E-REVO for double the price!!

What do you mean the ********* 2200 batts will not fit, I have seen dozens of posts with them being used by loads of people. You just have to trim the battery doors, not a big deal.

    Thank you danielhr77,
I thought the rhino batteries post was wrong as well, but I just did not feel like looking for the post about it from strykerpilot66.

Where do these people get their info, especially concerning the zippies, I have heard nothing but good news concerning them.

Oh, and dtnel, the zippies use this kind of a Balance Plug: JST-XH
And your charger should be fine as long as it can do lipos, it will just not charge them in a hour, maybe and hour 10, hour 20.

The 30c fits? Now I feel sick, I ordered the 20c because based on the dimensions, the 30c looked to be too thick to fit in the battery tray. I guess I have to order some 30c now.

Is 20C discharge about the minimum that should be used for batteries? I have some ***** 2s 1300mAh 15C batteries and I'm wondering if they will be up to the challenge. What about if I run two of them in parallel?

    Thanks!

Speed808, I concur with the others, because I use the Rhino 1550 3S 30C's daily, and I didn't need to do any trimming. They fit snug, but they fit. I think the 20C packs may have been too long, but now as I look today, the dimensions are different than they were 2 weeks ago when I got the 30C's. They may have seen the hype and had the factory adjust the dimensions. I know, it didn't seem logical that the 30C pack would fit but the 20C didn't....I may have read it first in a post here and then verified on their website, but I'm sure the dimensions have changed and it now looks like both fit.
    Good luck!

I made the same mistake and have ordered the Rhino 20C packs. Is anyone running these? Will they be ok or should I get some 30C packs instead?

Are you running 2 batteries in parallel, to get an hour of run time?

    Thanks,
