    steering servo grinding noise

    i am getting a grinding noise when i turn fully left on my mini e-revo and i dont no what do i do? when i adjust my servo trim i fixed it but then it came back and the only way of doing it now is adjusting it more to the right so it would pull right abit

    I would say you need a servo rebuild kit sounds like there is a tooth missing somewhere....

    It will happen again, have traxxas replace it, so they can record another failed servo. I was on my second servo when it took a dump, I switched to a metal gear servo. my brothers is on its way out as well.

    the problem is i live in the uk and i am not sure there service is so amazing here too, i have sent them and eamil.hopfuly they will just replace it for me

    I had same problem. I called traxxas 3 days ago and my new servo came in yesterday. Then I went on to www.buytraxxas.com and bought the rebuld kit with linkage (and other parts). Now when that comes in I'm gonna run duel servos. The part # is 7043 for the kit($12). Or you can get a set of gears for $4 and just run one servo.

    yeah I called traxxas, and they are sending me out a servo, I called them on monday, and so far thru thursday nothing in the mail, when It broke I went out and got a hitec 85mg, and I also ordered a hitec 82mg both fit and they are a lil stronger than the stocker, the 85mg has Ball Bearing and is like 35$us
    and the 82mg is like 22$ us... both have more power than the stock one. and I choose to run the 85mg because it is a tad bit slower, the 82mg almost seems a little twitchy....

    Forget the stock servo and parts, they are just too weak. Get a metal gear servo instead.

    I don't have the servo gears part # handy. I did find them on the buytraxxas web site. Tower has 'em also but not in stock yet. If u can't find them pm me and I'll look it up.
