Anyone tried 2x2S lipo in series on Slash or E-REVO? will I be the first (and maybe last)? 4S is only 16.8V, so that's the same V as 2 7-cell NiMH?
Yeah, I know....easy on the trigger........LHS still doesn't have spare parts

voltage seems a little high but it might work for a while. you could probably get a few speed runs in and but then the esc might do its little thermal shutdown deal. you never know though, try it out and let us know how it works!

People have done this, you have to turn the lvc off and run in nimh mode to do it. People have done it but the esc and motor heat up super quick and its not good for more then a few speed runs.

We have done it, its 14.8 volt, you run in nimh mode,
on asphalt it dont really overheat, not more than 3S.
Cant say for dirt bashing, it overheat on 3S anyway...
