Not lipo, buy MAYBE 2 NiMH if they are in parallel.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Lipo's you can but it's only a 50 watt charger so i wouldn't recommend it..Originally Posted by H towns finest
Plus you would also need 2 blinky's.

I dont see why not..Originally Posted by H towns finest
Also, as long as your lipos don't go more than 7000 mah combined you can charge them in parallel but ya need 2 blinky's..
EDIT:: Example, if you have 2 2200 mah lipo packs, set the charger for 2's 4400 mah or 4.4 amps and charge them in parallel..

With NiMh you have to make sure that one of the packs is not lower than the other in voltage. You could over charge a pack or a cell. Nimh packs do not have balancers..Originally Posted by H towns finest

Oh, that makes sense.
So if you charge 2 lipos together in parallel, couldn't you then balance them individually at different times using the same balancer. But I suppose if you want to be that patient, you might as well just charge them individually through the balancer.

any other input from other members?

please read below link on nimhs
http://www.powerstream.com/NiMH.htm
nimhs should be charged seperatly
the onyx 230 can only charge 2 or 3 cell lipos so no charging of dual lipos
you need a charger which will charge 6-8 cells and use a double balance board for say 2x 3 cell lipos = 6 cell and split the charge supply to both batteries
^^ Exactly..Originally Posted by tectic

This is because you can't be sure that each cell or pack is the same impedance (or resistance), and so some will take more current than others even when they are full. This means that you need to use a separate charging circuit for each string in a parallel pack, or balance the current in some other way, for example by using resistors of such a resistance that it will dominate the current control.

well I guess ill have to charge 1 battery at a time=(

you can use two low cost nimh chargers off 1 power supply at the same time to charge 2 batteries
yea, i just discovered that i can charge 2NiMh packs at teh same time. Should be much better.
What is a "blinky"?
A lipo balancer..Originally Posted by JatoTheRipper
