If its really good quality velcro, it will work for a time. The 1/10'th slash had that, along with body clips, but after taking off the body a couple times, the velcro was shot, or just peeled off.

yea, looks like a nice mod man. I did that to one of my 1/36 scales. Helps alot and makes room for other things. Nice job man.

I also always lost the front ones but not no more A Simple fix i found is push the body clips on past where they supposed to clip on so the body post actually goes in the big open round handle on the clips and you wont lose any clips anymore!
    Thanks

I thought about getting the retainers, but that wont keep the clips in place, just prevents lose.

The velcro that I got is pretty strong,w/ really good glue on the back.
Its holding great so far, longevity is the key I guess,so we will see.

This does work for not losing the clips but after several top slides the retainers were worn down and didnt hold clips anymore. The back one is still working good cause it sits low enough under the wing but the front...Nope it was trashed. I will be trying the Velcro method to see how it does for me.

I think the included clips are a bit too big. I ordered some black body clips as well. Had to slightly drill out the body post holes for them to fit easily. You could use the stock clips (if you haven't lost them yet) and just use the black rubber piece to hold them.

These are too long and would just drag if you flip it on it's lid. I had to tuck all the excess under the body. I had them for a while, however the front only lasted me a week from all the lid slides.
