    2S power!!

Well.. I got my MA 2S 2200 MAH LiPOs...

I only had the chance to run them for about 5 minutes before I had to leave for work tonight.

WOW.. ...this is my first bout with Lipos and what a difference... I punch the throttle and it just flips instantly!!!

Charging went well my first time.. My charger I would like to think is idiot proof.

I may have to just invest in a 1/10 ERBE!!!

What do I have to do to keep this thing on all fours? should I loosen the slipper a hair or make a wheelies bar or BOTH??

    LOL

    Thanks!

    Jim

easiest way is to learn some throttle control.

    Awesome news!
    Behold the power of LIPO

I got my e-revo backordered at towerhobby and have had my eye on those 2s lipo you got. Be sweet to have all that runtime and power at ur fingertips!

Do you have the stock batt pack? Why not toss that in the other battery hold for extra weight when you have that lipo in. Plus, yeah slack off the slipper a bit at a time to find a spot where it makes it more under control.
But, in time, after getting to be more use to the instant torq of lipo, your finger control on the trigger will help even out the input so its not so hard to control. Maybe even to the point where you tighten the slipper back down.
It doesn have that spool up factor that nitro has and so you mash the throttle to do so.
And hey if you got the funds, I think the ERBE is pure RC nirvana

I think most people don't bash MaxAmps for their performance or their marketing, I mean they're the first ones to offer matched packs, NiMh and Lipos, for all Traxxas cars. What people dislike about MaxAmps is their price... they're just overpriced. If you don't care about the price MaxAmps is just fine, I'm sure.

I am running 2 2S packs in parallel!

I am going to run it more tomorrow.. It was sick fast.. I mean sick!!
I am sure it was not a record though but fast for me! It is def faster than my 3.3 revo!

I cant wait to see my run time...

It is the MA 2200 package. I didnt care about the price. I wanted plug n play for my first Lipo adventure. I may get cheaper packs in the future but for now I am happy with my purchase.

I am really... really considering buying a ERBE. Anyone one want to buy 3.3 Revo?!!!!!

I just cant believe as soon as I smah the throttle it flips over. I am sure I can practice and do one of the rolling flips like on the Traxxas site!

yeah, after running (2) 2S packs in parallel and experiencing similar peformance, I think we've hit the sweet spot for this ESC/motor/truck. Just a little too much power, but no thermal issues.
